Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to residents in a healthcare facility. Your primary role will be to assist registered nurses and other healthcare providers in carrying out daily tasks and ensuring the well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient's condition
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of patient's living spaces
- Following care plans and treatment protocols set by healthcare providers
- Assisting with medical procedures as directed by healthcare team
- Documenting patient care and interactions accurately
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
