Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care to patients in healthcare facilities under the supervision of licensed nurses. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, such as using wheelchairs or walkers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation for patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Keep patient rooms clean and organized
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
