Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential care to patients in various healthcare settings under the supervision of registered nurses. Your primary duties will include assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and reporting any changes in the patient's condition to the nursing staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
2. Help patients with eating and mobility.
3. Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
4. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Assist with medical procedures under the direction of the nursing staff.
7. Document patient information and communicate with the nursing team.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Active CNA certification in the state of employment.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
