Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work closely with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain caused by injuries or illnesses. Your expertise and guidance will assist patients in improving their overall physical health and well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, focused on improving mobility, alleviating pain, and enhancing performance.
3. Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other physical therapy interventions to address patients' specific needs.
4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
5. Educate patients on injury prevention techniques, therapeutic exercises, and home exercises to promote self-management and long-term recovery.
6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses, to ensure holistic patient care.
7. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patients' treatment plans, progress, and any pertinent information.
8. Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patients' privacy and confidentiality.
10. Provide advice and support to patients' families or caregivers, as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.
2. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Proven experience in evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions and injuries.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
5. Strong analytical skills to assess patients' conditions and establish appropriate treatment plans.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
7. Ability to empathize with patients, exhibit patience, and motivate individuals to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
8. Strong manual dexterity and strength to perform hands-on physical therapy techniques.
9. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and technologies.
10. Detail-oriented nature to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
