Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical (Nursing)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. As a Medical/Surgical Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
6. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing care as needed.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
3. BLS and ACLS certification.
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Must live 75 Miles away from facility.
9. EMR Experience required: EPIC
