Job Title: CT Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our team and operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans
- Operate CT equipment to capture images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Ensure images are of high quality and meet diagnostic standards
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and communicating results to healthcare providers
- Maintain and clean CT equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the imaging process
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
- ARRT certification in CT technology
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist
- Strong knowledge of CT equipment and imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
