Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Med/Surg is responsible for providing direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, utilizing their clinical expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. This position requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and evaluating patient conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital signs
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans
- Educating patients and families on their conditions and treatment options
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license of WA.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
