Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients in critical condition. You will assess patients, administer treatments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the smooth functioning of the ER.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring vital signs and patient status
- Collaborating with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
- Adhering to hospital protocols and policies
- Providing emotional support to patients and families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
