Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with children and adults who have communication and swallowing disorders to help them improve their speech and language skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs
- Implement therapy interventions to improve clients' speech and language abilities
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Educate clients and their families on exercises and techniques to support progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' progress and treatment plans
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech therapy
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
