Job Title: RN-Med Surge/ED
Job Summary:
As an RN-Med Surge/ED, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be working in a combined medical-surgical and emergency department setting, providing care to patients with diverse medical needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
- Adhering to evidence-based practice standards and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- Educating patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention strategies
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Qualifications and Skills:
Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC ** CURRENT, UNRESTRICTED COLORADO RN LICENSE REQUIRED**
Patient Ratio: 1 to 5
Covid Vaccinations: required per State mandate
Experience: Spine/Ortho Post Op Patient experience required, emphasis on Med/Surg
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and emergency nursing
