Job Title: RN-Med-Surg-Nights
Job Summary:
The RN-Med-Surg-Nights will be responsible for providing direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and documenting patient conditions
- Implementing and managing patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educating patients and their families on their condition and treatment plan
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- CERTS: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work night shifts
