Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist in surgical operations and ensure the operating room is safe and sterile. The Surgical Technologist will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare operating room for surgical procedures
2. Set up surgical instruments and equipment
3. Assist surgical team during procedures
4. Maintain sterile field throughout surgery
5. Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
6. Prepare and transport patients for surgery
7. Clean and sterilize surgical equipment and instruments
8. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery
9. Assist with post-operative care as needed
10. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program
2. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team
6. Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
7. Understanding of sterile techniques and infection control
8. Physical stamina and dexterity to assist in surgeries for extended periods of time
