Job Title: Speech Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and help them improve their speech and language skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess patients' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and educators to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current on new research and techniques in the field of speech therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech Therapist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience working with individuals with a wide range of communication disorders
