Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
The LVN/LPN provides basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors. They assist with patient assessments, wound care, medication administration, and other duties to ensure the well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and report patient symptoms or changes in health status
- Administer oral and injectable medications as prescribed
- Assist with dressing changes, wound care, and other nursing procedures
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide quality patient care
- Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited LVN/LPN program
- Current license to practice as an LVN/LPN in the state of employment
- CPR certification
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to stand and move for long periods
