Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The CT Technologist will work closely with patients to provide compassionate care while ensuring accurate imaging results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform CT scans on patients in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Ensure patients are properly positioned for imaging procedures.
3. Adjust imaging equipment settings to produce clear and detailed images.
4. Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
5. Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret imaging results.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
7. Follow proper safety protocols and regulations to prevent exposure to radiation.
8. Assist in the training and supervision of new technologists.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT imaging.
3. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures.
8. Proficiency in using CT scan equipment and imaging software.
