Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in working in a fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and intravenous drips as necessary
- Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
