Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and comfortable birthing experience for all patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor pregnant women throughout labor, identifying any potential complications and providing appropriate interventions
- Assist with various birthing procedures, including cesarean sections and epidurals
- Educate patients on prenatal and postpartum care, including breastfeeding techniques and newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
