Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and structures for diagnostic purposes. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of radiology principles, anatomy, and patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans
- Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort
- Work closely with radiologists to interpret images and provide accurate reports
- Maintain and update patient records
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and perform routine quality control checks
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
