Job title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals who have physical, mental, or developmental impairments to improve their quality of life and help them achieve independence in their daily activities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patients' needs, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to help them regain their ability to perform daily tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify patients' strengths and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments
- Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and cognitive abilities
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with patients with a variety of physical and mental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques
