Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests in various areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and immunology
- Analyze and interpret test results
- Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
- Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities
- Keep abreast of new developments and techniques in the field of clinical laboratory science
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
