Job Title: RN Med-surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Med-surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. They will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Performing various medical procedures
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records and medical terminology
