Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical nursing to join our team. The Med/Surg RN will be responsible for providing quality care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit, including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and patient education.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patient health status and develop nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and update care plans as needed
- Provide patient education on post-operative care, medication management, and overall wellness
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures for patient care and safety
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
