Job Title: Dialysis RN
Job Summary:
The Dialysis RN is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. They will assess patients, administer dialysis treatments, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures and self-care. The Dialysis RN will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Administer dialysis treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatments as needed
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and self-care practices
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and timely
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dialysis nursing
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment
