Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team and provide quality imaging services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating X-ray and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for healthcare providers. This role plays a crucial part in helping physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Ensure patient safety by following proper protocols during imaging procedures
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and providing accurate diagnoses
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Keep detailed records of patient information and imaging procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and techniques
