Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and conduct diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately positioning patients for scans, adjusting parameters on the scanner for optimal imaging quality, and working closely with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders
- Ensure patient safety during procedures and provide clear instructions
- Maintain and adjust MRI equipment as needed
- Follow established protocols for imaging procedures
- Prepare and administer contrast agents when necessary
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Collaborate with radiologists to review and interpret images
Qualifications and Skills:
- ARRT certification in MRI technology
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current state licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging procedures
