Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Follow protocols and procedures to achieve accurate imaging results
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine the best imaging techniques for each patient
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
Qualifications and Skills:
- ARRT certification
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- State licensure or certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform imaging procedures
- Knowledge of radiation safety procedures
