Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech and language disorders to improve their communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting evaluations to assess speech and language abilities
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Educating patients and their families on speech therapy techniques
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification
- State licensure as a Speech Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of current therapy techniques and tools
- Compassion and patience
