Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team and help individuals of all ages improve their daily living and work skills. The ideal candidate will be skilled in evaluating patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to help clients overcome physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to determine clients' abilities and limitations
2. Develop personalized treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals
3. Provide therapy to improve clients' fine motor skills, coordination, and strength
4. Teach self-care tasks and adaptive techniques to enhance clients' independence
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and monitor progress
6. Keep detailed records of clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
7. Educate clients and their families on home exercises and strategies for improving function
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
2. Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Experience working with individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges
