Job Title: RN Med-surg Adult
Job Summary:
As an RN Med-surg Adult, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients while promoting optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and documenting patient's health status
2. Developing and implementing nursing care plans
3. Administering medications and treatments
4. Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in condition
5. Educating patients and their families on health management
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
7. Providing emotional support to patients and families
8. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and policies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS and ACLS certification
