Job Title: RN - Endoscopy
Job Summary:
The RN - Endoscopy will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. This includes assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting physicians during procedures. The RN will also be responsible for educating patients about their procedures and post-procedure care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess patients before and after endoscopic procedures
2. Administer medications and monitor patients during procedures
3. Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures
4. Educate patients about their procedures and post-procedure care
5. Document patient care and maintain accurate records
6. Monitor and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies
7. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
3. Previous experience in endoscopy or gastroenterology preferred
4. BLS and ACLS certification
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
8. Ability to work well in a team setting
