Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and high-quality care to critically ill patients, monitor their condition, and administer appropriate treatments to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patients' vital signs and symptoms
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
4. Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
5. Operating and monitoring medical equipment
6. Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
7. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
8. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or critical care setting
4. BLS and ACLS certification
5. Strong critical thinking and communication skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills
8. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families
