Job Title: Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Echo Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Echo Technologist will be responsible for performing echocardiogram procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as proficiency in using specialized ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiogram procedures on patients in a clinical setting
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging
- Assist physicians in interpreting and analyzing echocardiogram results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- Prior experience working as an Echo Technologist in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing procedures
