Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Summary: As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and other imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders
2. Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images
3. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
4. Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
5. Assist with the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment
6. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnostic information is obtained
7. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure
8. Stay up-to-date on latest technology and techniques in the field
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
2. ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist
3. State licensing or registration as required
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
8. Experience with PACS systems and electronic medical records
