Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with a variety of medical conditions. You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage the care of patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Educating patients and their families on their diagnosis and treatment
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing necessary interventions
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Ensuring a clean and sterile environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Previous experience in a Medical/Surgical unit (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
