Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during MRI exams, as well as producing high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate MRI scanners to capture images of patients' internal organs and tissues
- Follow protocols to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
- Position patients correctly and provide instructions for the duration of the exam
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during the MRI procedure
- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with radiologists to review and analyze images for diagnostic purposes
- Keep accurate records of each MRI exam and patient information
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of MRI room and equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of radiology principles and practices
