Job Title: RN - Wound Care
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care to join our healthcare team. The RN - Wound Care will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with acute and chronic wounds, providing advanced wound care interventions, collaborating with healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans, and educating patients and their families on wound care management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of wound conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide wound debridement, dressing changes, and other advanced wound care interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate optimal patient care
- Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and prevention strategies
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records
- Stay current on evidence-based wound care practices and participate in continuing education activities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license and CPR certification
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience with a focus on wound care
- Certification in BLS needed
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
