Job Title: ER/Floor RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ER/Floor Registered Nurse to join our medical team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care in the Emergency Room and on the hospital floor. This role requires quick thinking, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and prioritize patient needs in the Emergency Room and on the hospital floor
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor and record patient vital signs
4. Educate patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
6. Assist in emergency medical procedures as needed
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
8. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures at all times
9. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of MN.
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER or hospital floor setting
4. BLS and ACLS certifications
5. Will float over to MS as per the facility's requirement.
6. Traveler MUST have a MN Dept of Health background study done through netstudy2.0.
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
