Job Title: Med/Surg FT Night Shift Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical unit on a full-time night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patient health and implementing care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
- Educating patients and families on post-discharge care
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Night shift job (7p - 7a)
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of Iowa
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
