Job Title: RN-ICU/PCU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, monitoring patients closely, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients in the ICU/PCU setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an ICU or PCU setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress situations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
