Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team. The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients, administering medications, and assisting in the coordination of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a clinic setting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a clinic setting
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
