Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to healthcare providers
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Those living within a 75-mile radius of the facility will be presented at a 10% reduction in rate/hour.
