Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant in Long Term Care, you will be responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your primary goal will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of residents in a long-term care facility.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Reporting any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
- Helping to maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
- Providing emotional support to residents and their families
- Following all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
