Guaranteed hours: 40 hours
Shift: Night 10:30p to 7a
Pay: $35-37
Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and storing medical instruments and equipment to ensure the safety and effectiveness of healthcare procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Operate and monitor sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
2. Inspect and assemble surgical instruments and equipment for use in medical procedures.
3. Follow strict protocols and guidelines to maintain a sterile environment in the healthcare facility.
4. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure proper equipment handling.
5. Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification preferred.
3. Previous experience in sterile processing or healthcare industry is a plus.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
