Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our team in performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to assist in the care and treatment of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment
- Monitor patients during procedures and assist with the interpretation of data
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care to patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or related field
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
