Job Title: Scrub Tech
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scrub Tech to assist surgeons during surgical procedures. The Scrub Tech will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, handing instruments to the surgeon, and providing assistance as needed throughout the surgery.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures
2. Set up surgical instruments and equipment
3. Assist surgeons during procedures by handing them instruments and supplies
4. Maintain the sterile field throughout the surgery
5. Monitor and document patient vital signs
6. Assist with patient positioning and prep
7. Provide post-operative care as needed
8. Maintain and sterilize surgical equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of a surgical technology program
3. Certification as a Surgical Technologist
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
7. Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
8. Knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
