Job title: Registered Nurse, Long Term Care
Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care facility. As a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents and facilitate their recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and evaluate residents' responses to care and adjust care plans accordingly
- Provide emotional support and education to residents and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Document all care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Prior experience working in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- BLS certification
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for long-term care facilities
