Job Title: General Surgeon
Job Summary: As a General Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures to treat injuries, diseases, and other medical conditions. You will work closely with patients to diagnose issues, develop treatment plans, and provide post-operative care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform surgical procedures such as appendectomies, gallbladder removals, hernia repairs, and colonoscopies.
2. Consult with patients to discuss treatment options and explain surgical procedures.
3. Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure their well-being.
4. Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
5. Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records for all surgical procedures.
6. Stay current on advancements in surgical techniques and technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
2. Board certification in General Surgery.
3. Valid state medical license.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure.
6. Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
