Job Title: Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions to help them improve mobility, manage pain, and regain function. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on care to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine individualized treatment plans.
2. Develop and implement treatment programs that include manual therapy, exercise, and education.
3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
4. Provide hands-on therapy to improve range of motion, strength, and coordination.
5. Educate patients on home exercises and self-care techniques.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
7. Stay current on evidence-based practices and attend continuing education courses.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
6. Experience working with patients of all ages and physical abilities.
7. CPR certification.
